The coolest Lego set ever! Best in Building Toys

My son really wanted a Lego Boost robot with programming, but I didn't really want to spend $160 to buy him one. We ended up getting him as a consolation gift and he loved it! This is of course not programmed, but the parts are still moved manually. This is the coolest Lego set we've ever had (and we've got quite a few!)!

Pros
  • Enjoyable

Favorite LEGO set!

I'm a big fan of LEGO Creator sets. If your child is bored with traditional LEGO sets, this is your solution. This is by far one of the coolest LEGO projects my son has made. I wouldn't say it's necessarily more advanced, just a different challenge. My son is 5 years old and knocked him unconscious in an hour without help. So if you have a small one, fear not.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So So

Ease of use.: Numbers

The price point is similar to any normal store. My son is 7 years old and had no problem assembling three different robot based things. He really liked the LED light used in this particular device and it is semi unique to this Lego set. Overall I am very happy with this Lego set. The hardest part is keeping the different kits separate so he can keep having fun building different things from that particular kit.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Poor

Looks like Johnny's Son 5

I saw this set and definitely got it. I'm a grown LEGO fanatic (building sets really relax me), but I also have a slight obsession with whimsical robots. Both worlds come together in one set for less than $20?! Shut up and take my money! This little guy looks like he's the son of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. There's some great detail here, and the light brick is a great touch, but I doubt I'll be taking it apart because it looks too good in my office with all my other robot toys.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • Some difficulty

I love this! for construction toys

The Explorer robot was so much fun to build and I have it on my desk! I built this a few months ago. I remember from other reviews there was a part missing so I was ready and used the missing part to connect the important part but that didn't stop me from completing it. It's a 3-in-1 kit, meaning I have to take it apart and assemble the other two at least once, then go back and reassemble the explorer bot. Fun and easy to build and I don't dig because that's what Lego is all about.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Disappear

The best LEGO set ever.

My 5 year old son has recently become obsessed with Wall-E and loves Lego. The real LEGO Wall-E set is too expensive, so we bought it. I assembled the robot (with his help) for the first time. He loved it. He made changes and replaced parts just like in the movie. After all, he wanted to make a puppy, and surprisingly, he made everything himself! Then I helped him recreate the robot and he ended up taking it apart to build a bird. Eventually he built the robot himself for the third time. I love

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons

Always fun and always again

My son and I did all 3 sets. We like the 3-in-1 sets best because we're really motivated to take them apart and make them new - we just don't do that with other sets. My son is almost 4 years old and said this is his favorite game (we have mythical creatures and dinosaurs which are super cool) - I think the light and the fact that it's a robot with lots of moving parts helps. He played with built-in robot models as toys - they hold up well. While I've always been fascinated by Lego using theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great set at a very good price!

This set has it all. He's fun to build, has lots of useful parts, is fun to play with, is VERY posable and super adorable! You can pick up bricks, balance them on one hand, adjust your eyes to get a variety of expressions, and roll them around! Sprockets are actually mated to regular rubber wheels, meaning the tracks will spin as you move them over smooth OR uneven ground! The light brick is integrated in each of the three models in a unique way, which can inspire you to use it in differentโ€ฆ
