Works well! (Edited)

Bought these for my old 2003 Huffy Howler (my current pandemic survival vehicle) to get it revved up and all gears restored. These work fine. The right front derailleur works well with a Falcon derailleur that has seen better days. Regardless, the switch brought the bike back to life. So far, so good. Just had to make random adjustments as switches and cords break well. This was to be expected. The left shifter works well, but sometimes it also needs adjustment as it sometimes doesn't want to go to the smallest sprocket. I'm pretty sure it's an adjustment issue people are having as everything breaks down due to usage. So remember, if you are having trouble dropping onto the smallest sprocket, turn the derailleur adjusting screw a little and check the cable tension. The seller packed the parts well and the parts were brand new, unused as advertised. Perfect fit for the old bike and easy to install. The derailleurs also allow you to change cables in the future if one breaks or you need a new cable, at least you don't have to buy new derailleurs just replace the cable. So far I'm very happy with this product and will definitely come back to it should the need arise. After all, they seem to be a step above what you typically see on big-box budget bikes. They're of pretty decent quality. EDIT: I just want to add a helpful tip as I've ridden them in the rain 2 or 3 times in the past week. Do yourself a favor and buy cycling gloves in case you find yourself in the rain. They have great traction when dry, but like any other rear derailleur, they get slippery and difficult to shift when wet.
