Review on Farberware PurECOok Ceramic Nonstick Bakeware by Jose Ballard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Non-stick label is misleading

I really wanted a textured pan and had high hopes for it. Pros: If you're baking something like cookies or pizza, it cooks really well. The textured base provides the perfect amount of air for even baking. Cons - this is where the pros end. However, after removing the pan, the non-stick coating is already missing in many places on the bottom of the pan. It's only a matter of time before the coating comes off completely. The word "non-stick" is definitely not the right word for this. Lots of lube seems to be drawn into the textured pattern and stubbornly doesn't come off. Do not wash immediately, do not soak, nothing. I tried a bit with a harder cleaning pad and while luckily I didn't start to remove the non-stick coating, I couldn't remove all of the burnt-on grease either. Really disappointed. In the end it wasn't worth the investment as I'll probably have to replace it in a few months if I keep using it as intended.

Cons
