I purchased this product in the hope that it would boost my AT&T Nighthawk router's signal strength to the tower closest to my house. After lots of diagnostic testing, I found that external antennas had little to no impact on signal strength. I even used a piece of metal, placed the antennas 2 feet apart and kept them vertical as I've read that those methods work best. I then tried directing them to a line of sight tower and even took them up onto the roof to see if that would help, but it still seemed like my signal would be just as strong without them. This was the case with all LTE bands that I was able to use in my area. My internet actually performed worse on speed tests than without it. Maybe this would be useful for those who are very far from the cell tower, but in my case they just didn't work.
