How do you propose to solve the issue and does the guarantee still work for you?

Pros

They work, the headphones themselves do not raise any questions (although the case on the front side is slightly worn, although they came packed), but wearing them for a long time hurts. Audibility during a call is excellent in both directions, the music sounds good.

Cons
