I bought this multimeter because someone told me it was a US version. I wonder why it took a while to receive it as most Revain products ship very quickly. It is definitely made in China. It came in one of their crappy boxes with the usual inserts. The operating instructions are written entirely in Chinese. There is a very small newspaper with English writing. I'm 66 years old and have had gauges for 45 years and this is the simplest and most basic gauge for everything it does. I didn't get the instruction manual, but I found out a lot on my own. I ordered this meter to try and save money on a Fluke meter. Big mistake. The first one I got had a blown 440mA fuse and looked like it was second hand. I returned it and ordered a new one from another seller. The second one I got couldn't measure the resistance. The counter will constantly search. I bought this Fluke 17B+ for one reason - to confirm or allay my concerns about parasitic power consumption in my car. I connected a Fluke 17B+ along with an Etekcity MSR-A600 (another multimeter) between the ground wire and the car battery negative terminal, both multimeters set to A (DC) (plug the wires into the correct sockets).
