I am adopting a puppy that had a rough start. This meal is small and handy. This has a mild effect on his digestive system and he is able to hold it back. he gains weight I like that the ingredients are recognizable and clean. However, I'm not very keen on adding pea protein. It is viewed by most pet sites as a by-product that increases protein content inexpensively. The puppy will eat it, although he prefers real meat and other dried foods where meat, fish or poultry are the first ingredients. However, he seems to be taking it and doing better, if not quite thriving.
