Too Irritating For My Sensitive & Dry Skin▪️Good Ingredients But Also Irritants & Drying Ingredients

This SEACRET Complex Supercharged Moisture Cream is a white, non greasy cream with a pleasant texture and no added fragrance, though it has a light scent from the ingredients. When first applied, this initially felt like it would be moisturizing and good for my dry skin. And it does have many good dry skin and anti aging ingredients, such as Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, squalane, avocado oil, glycerin, adenosine, ceramides, lactic acid, citric acid, Dunaliella Salina Extract and so on.Unfortunately, I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t tolerate this cream well. After a couple minutes, my face gets a burning feeling and becomes red and angry looking. It also oddly feels rough and dry. I tried this cream a few times before giving up to make sure it wasn’t another product, but each time I had to wash it off within about 10 minutes as my skin wasn’t calming down and felt uncomfortable like I might end up with a burn or rash. My skin did get better after washing it off and applying soothing products. It’s hard to know what causes my irritation or allergy to this cream, especially since it mixes so many types of ingredients together. I never use salicylic acid, so it may be that it’s too strong and drying for my sensitive-dry skin type. I may be wrong, but I always thought it was best suited to those with oily and/or acne prone skin. I also see Benzyl Alcohol high on the ingredient list and it may be an allergen or the concentration may just be too high for me. This has other potential irritants, such as citric acid, lactic acid, citrus extracts, Lavandula Hybrida Oil and so on.It may be that my sensitive, dry skin could tolerate one or more of the irritants in this cream, but maybe the combination and/or amount is just too much. This cream may be tolerated fine by others and may be a good cream for some, but it just feels too irritating for my sensitive skin. I can’t evaluate if it can help wrinkles as claimed and can’t make a recommendation other than to note this may be irritating to those with contact allergies and/or sensitive skin. 3 stars.
