Unfortunately I had to return this product as it failed to charge a 12v battery that had dropped below 6.7v May not need a charger, does for me no sense. But I'll admit it's common with all 'smart' chargers today. If they're so smart, why can't they charge a dead battery? Despite all that, this charger probably performs very well within its limitations, so the rating is a bit unfair. It is compact, lightweight and has a very easy to read display. My rating is based on how it (didn't) work for me.
