Great alternative to starch

I love this spray. I'm a quilter so I use it on my fabric all the time. This is a good alternative to starch. It's not that heavy and doesn't leave any visible marks on the fabric. This is enough to smooth out wrinkles and allow for a clean cut. I recently noticed that there was a water stain on a piece of fabric, although that might have been my fault. I cooked and ironed the fabric at the same time; I was spraying the material when the oven clock went off. When I came back to iron the fabric, the Best Press was dry leaving a water stain. The fabric was a very light blue, I don't think I would have noticed on a darker or patterned fabric. I was able to lighten it but not completely remove it by spraying and pressing with distilled water. I'm sure it will wash out using this piece in my duvet, but it's closer to the edge so it may not be needed. I've been using Best Press for many years and this is the first time I've noticed a water stain. My tip: Iron the fabric immediately, do not let it air dry. I also have allergies and issues with aerosol chemicals or strong fragrances. This pump spray is a good alternative, although it doesn't mist as finely as I would like. The spray comes out a little unevenly, saturating some areas and barely wetting others. If there is a finer mist pump that doesn't use aerosol chemicals, it would be preferable to provide a lighter, more even coverage with no losses. The smell is pleasant and noticeable but not too strong, but if you have a stronger allergy I wouldn't recommend a smell.
