I was hooked on these binoculars for the first few seconds. You look great. They are nice to hold. They are light. They are well done. However, when I started using them, I found that they had a major design flaw, as I understand it: at maximum aperture, the distance between the centers of the two eyepieces is only 70mm, while the distance between my pupils is 74mm . -- in the upper part of the normal range for adult males, but not uncommon. This makes binoculars impossible for me as I can only see the full field of view in one lens or the other, not both. Most binoculars open up to about 76mm. So check your pupillary distance before you buy them. If it's more than 70mm, you're probably having the same troubles as me.
