My 3 year old Pitbull is very intelligent, generally very calm and well mannered and makes a great companion. However, in the past she has repeatedly been in the situation of being attacked by larger dogs, which has had a lasting effect on her behavior. If she's out for a walk and sees a large dog, she'll "freak out" with barks and shrugs, and adopt an aggressive stance in self-defense. When she's in this mode, it's almost impossible to break through to stop her. When I saw this tool I thought it might be the perfect solution. I was right. When Violet gets into such a frenzy, I can point this device at her (which I attach to her leash) and press the button. She immediately stops what she's doing and looks at me, wondering what's going on. That's exactly what I wanted. I don't know if I'll ever be able to fix a behavior problem because it's an ingrained fear, but at least now I have a tool to help me deal with it. The device is simple and charges via the included USB port. Cable. It's easy to use. Point the device at the dog and press the button. There are two possibilities. one for learning and the other as a deterrent. I use containment mode. The seller's device description is accurate. I would definitely order again and would highly recommend as a teaching tool or as a deterrent in situations where you need an animal's attention. It works and it works well. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
