I love this item. I bought a new mattress and decided to redo my entire bedroom. I had no idea if the color of the skirt would match my bedroom color scheme but based on the great reviews and comments I decided to take a chance. I don't know what I was expecting but it's way better than what I was expecting for the price. I also felt that the color in the photo looked darker than I intended. When it arrived it was more of an oily cream color. Off-white or something like the light beige or brown in the picture. The color goes perfectly with my color and bedding. This is a very rich fabric. Looks way more expensive than I paid for it. It has a soft suede feel on the outside and a smooth feel on the inside. As for maintenance, upon arrival I washed it on the Cold Gentle setting. I tumble dried it on the lowest setting for 2 or 3 minutes to smooth out the wrinkles. And then I ironed the lower part of the skirt around the entire perimeter and laid it on the bed. Also, my bed has a high platform, that drop length was perfect. It doesn't reach the floor, but it's long enough to stop before it hits the floor so you can't see under the bed. Highly recommended! Now I plan to try sheets that fit.
