Owned for almost 2 years. Mainly used for hiking, but we occasionally take it on bike rides as well. The controls are a bit odd, but if you read the manual and spend a little time using it, it's not bad. What I like -> Accuracy. A clear satellite signal gives you useful information. Distance travelled, average speed and altitude - which I really like. > Very small - fits in any pocket (but be careful - it can block the signal. Areas for improvement: > Battery life - only about 4 hours max using 2 AAA batteries. I don't know why they don't use AA batteries - that would easily triple battery life in the sky. In deep forests or canyons you can lose signal. I don't think this device is as sensitive as larger devices. I know that the wrist strap versions (model 205/305) specifically have an extended antenna to solve this problem... An interesting note - I was trying to use this on an airplane, I held it next to a window, it got a signal and continuously gave me the data on the airplane's speed and altitude - also works in the car for the same purpose.
