I bought these to wrap flowers in a mason jar for decor. The lights are beautiful and functioned well. My complaint is the battery life. I get that these use a small button cell battery and they are not going to last long, but I expected more. This comes with a timer, but to me the timer is useless because it only lasted four days and was very noticeably dim after two days. I don't know why you would even need that feature if you arent going to get much use out of it before replacing the batteries anyways. To be fair, I could not find any fairy lights that had a better design for improved battery life, even when they went up to AA batteries.Overall, this is great for use once or twice, but if you want to use this for seasonal decor you are going to be replacing the battery twice a week or more.
