I live in Texas. Warm or hot, 90% of the time. This is great for those of us who just can't handle the weight of a comforter. There aren't enough sheets and the bedspread (on our 90% hot days) isn't enough. This product offers a good compromise. It's stronger than a heavy tablecloth. The cotton weave is not so tight that if it were on your head you would not be able to breathe. It is not wrinkle-free, but it creases very little; smoothed out well enough, you could make a decent bed even without a bedspread or quilt for aesthetic reasons. I can't say enough good things about a weight that doesn't envelop or constrain you. The only downside is small: it's not very soft. "Feeling" reminds me of heavy underwear. I guess it couldn't have been too soft or it wouldn't have been more than a sheet. In itself it is good for sleep. I say it's a great alternative to a duvet! Love that it's breathable cotton!
