I bought this for my daughter who has vitiligo on her knees and it covered and protected her well. A very good quality! Her shorts were about mid-calf, which is why I bought this suit. The front zip is great for kids, especially when they are cold or grumpy, you can change them with ease. She wore it with ease, even when it was wet and she was playing in the sand. Shorts dry quickly. This costume also looks very unisex, so it's great for girls too. Not a single person asked why she was wearing it, the only comments I got was how cute she looked in it. It almost looks a bit retro compared to today's normal swimwear. I love this product and plan to buy more every year! There is no wear and tear after years of swimming in the sandy lake every weekend! Plus, the more coverage this suit has, the less sunscreen you'll need to apply every hour!
