I used them on my December 2019 Carnival cruise. It was fantastic! I have used 8 ounce and 16 ounce pouches. I followed the instructions exactly. Fill it about 85% full, squeeze out excess air and remove the o-ring on the cap. They didn't leak at all. I had the bags prepared a few days before our cruise and the bags were packed into several suitcases that were packed fairly well. I had no problems. Pro Tips: - Fold the 16oz bags into the jeans/sweatpants that are in the checked bag. - Use 8 ounce bags of toiletries. (I had toiletries in my carry-on and had no problems) - Distribute the bags evenly in the luggage. Don't put them all straight up or on top of each other. A tightly packed suitcase will be less attractive to look for. The reviews didn't mention anything about dark spirits. I've used a few Jack Daniels bags and haven't had any problems. I will definitely use them in the future.
