UPDATE: I have contacted Lasko for a replacement and the replacement has been working great for over 2 months now. No noise! And at the first speed in the room it gets colder than the old one. I'm so happy, I really hope I don't have the same problem later in the future. Thank you Lasco! So my husband's boss bought this fan from Costco and I really liked it so I decided to get it from Revain. Before buying I saw reviews that the fan makes a loud noise, but I figured that after 4 months I wouldn't have this problem. that noise. Reviews are there for a reason, please read. Now that the return time has passed Revain said they can't replace it but I have a manufacturer warranty so I hope and pray Lasko honors that. Save yourself the hassle and buy it from Costco or elsewhere, don't know why Revain doesn't have the same quality. It's like Lasko only sends Revane fans they can't sell. Very frustrated I didn't have to go through all of this because of what I paid money for and it should work properly. Yes, and the remote control on the back does not work optimally when it wants to.
