Opaque, letters wear out in a few weeks on heavy typewriters
I was very disappointed to find out that they are not transparent, just Russian characters on a transparent sticker so I can see the English letters under my backlit keyboard. I'm also disappointed that after a few weeks many letters, especially frequently typed ones, are so faded that I can no longer read them. I am very disappointed in this.
