Review on Stay Fashionable & Warm With DailyShoes Women'S 2-Tone Knee High Cowboy Snow Boot by Paul Philippe

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fits my wide calfs!

Just got these bad boys in today. I am normally a 7.5 but went up a half size of thinking i needed the extra space for a thick sock. I should have ordered a 7.5. These are very warm my feet are sweating and I don't even have socks on. I think I will be okay with a normal sock. The boot seems very sturdy, hopefully it holds up in the snow. I have wide calves and feet and the boots fit very nicely. It feels loose in fact, so I can pull the shoe lace chords to make it tighter. I will be updating my review after I test these out in the snow!*Update 02-39-16I bought these boots specifically to take up to the mountain. I the last time I went I used my rain boots which kept my feet dry but nearly froze them. I was able to try them out in the snow this past weekend and changed my review from 5 stars to 3. Once I stepped on the snow I could immediately them that moisture was going to leak through the fabric. Water didn't repell from the shoe fabric like I thought it would instead it seemed to have soaked it in. After about 1hr 39mins I started to feel moisture on my toes so I already knew water was leaking through. It wasn't too bad just more annoying than anything. Aside from that the boots are comfortable to walk in. They seemed to have pretty good traction. On my left boot the zipper was inward and kept poking my ankle bone which was bothersome. I'm not sure if that was just a defect because the right boot wasn't doing that. All in all I just wouldn't recommend these boots if you are planning on playing in the snow for an extended period of time.
