I've been looking for a good modern sewing basket for years so I was glad to see this one. First off, this bag holds a little more than I originally thought it would. The angled design of the handle means you can basically fill it in and it still closes and has a rubber band at the top to secure when it's really full. Here's everything I could fit in this bag (no acorns or pumpkins), and there was room for more. I could probably throw in two fairly large balls of yarn and take them somewhere. I didn't plan on putting all my knitting supplies in there at first, but it just kept progressing. I have here in addition to what was in my old hand sewing basket, threw in two boxes of stuff. The color is great too. It's definitely not your grandmother's sewing basket. The only thing I have a problem with is the design of the mesh pockets: they're sewn into the bottom seam, so if you put something very small and flimsy in them, they'll get stuck there and very difficult to pull out. I put a small needle threader in one of them and it was very difficult for me to pull it out. Stick to larger items (or at least not flat ones) and you'll be fine. Great basket. Highly recommended.
