Review on TROND Power Strip Surge Protector with 5 Widely-Spaced Outlets and 3 USB Ports - Efficient Wall-Mountable Extension for Computers, Kitchens, and TVs (White) by Bob Souza

Useful surge protection

I also needed a square surge protector for my bedside table. That's when I came across this brand. You can't go wrong with a long power cord and white (mounting holes are an added bonus). It doesn't move, there are several extra sockets and 3 USB ports. I was impressed so I bought another one for my desk (but in black). I might as well just get the 3rd. So far everything is working fine.

Pros
  • 5 mains sockets far apart. Power supply for adapters with large plugs. The greater spacing between them (38mm vs. 30mm for traditional splitters) allows you to fit multiple larger power supplies (preferably less than 1.75 inches wide) without blocking adjacent outlets. Just connect a computer, monitor, printer, etc.
