I bought 2 sets, total 6 socks. These are the worst socks I've ever bought. First, they are made of very thin, fluffy material. Secondly, not only do these socks LOVE clumps of fluffy balls of fiber, they also LOVE very thin, hair-like strands. When you put your feet on a fabric sofa or bedspread, the hair-like threads actually cling to the sofa/bedspread like Velcro. If you're buying these socks, make sure you have a good lint brush. I thought it might just be a problem with the first of the six pairs. So before putting on the remaining 5 pairs, I washed these socks TWICE. Washed inside out first, then inside out again. Both times I used cold water and liquid fabric softener. My God. 5 pairs of socks were no better than the first pair I wore. If you want to track someone, ask them to wear a pair of these socks. You can find them easily by following the trail of fluffy balls and hair-like threads. It doesn't matter whether you wear them with or without shoes or walk in socks on smooth surfaces. Same peeling effect. It's almost unbelievable how much material they constantly lose considering how thin the material is. If I could give them less than 1 star, I would give it because of the amount of energy I expended picking up clumps of fluffy fibers from the floor and scraping hairs from the couch and bedspread. Only buy these socks if you're looking for a part-time job collecting lint.
