Review on Yesland 2.7 Quart Tea Kettle: Audible Whistling ☕ Teapot with Wood Pattern Handle for Stovetops - Grey by Jairah Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Finally found one to my liking.

I've tried a lot of kettles on the stove and things always go wrong. I hesitated to buy this one. While it had decent reviews there really isn't much to give a true and accurate review. However, when I received it, I was pleasantly surprised. I like the color I chose and also the wooden handle. It's very light (which I like), but if you're looking for a thick, heavy steel base that retains heat, this kettle isn't for you. Although the bottom is thin, it holds enough hot water for me. The lid fits a certain way, until you try it the other way around it won't be difficult to open or close, and there's plenty of room when filling with water. There were reviews about the side burn, but if you follow the directions and use it on a small burner with a small flame, the kettle retains a beautiful appearance. It is easy to clean and solid on the inside so there are no cracks on the bottom where water can cause rust. I use it almost every day on a gas stove and am completely satisfied. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the whistle is very weak, almost imperceptible. I actually prefer a quiet whistle so I'm glad it's not loud but I figured most people would like a louder whistle so I decided to give it 4 stars. All in all I would definitely recommend this kettle, the great price is a bonus.
