Review on 🔭 Gosky 20-60 X 80 Porro Prism Spotting Scope - Best Waterproof Scope for Bird Watching, Target Shooting, Archery Range & Outdoor Activities - with Tripod & Digiscoping Adapter by Rachel Mitchell

I bought this for bird watching, mainly for spotting ducks in the water. I chose it because of the relatively cheap price and good reviews. When I got it, it worked quite well. The picture wasn't as clear as with the binoculars, but I was able to see a little further than what I wanted with the binoculars. The tripod was fairly short but worked well in my truck as it was just the right height to mount on the center console and observe from the driver's seat. I've taken good care of it, but in less than a year it no longer focuses properly at any distance (bright streaks in the image) and it really doesn't work for birding anymore. I think it's likely that one of the optical components was loose and slipped. Maybe that can be fixed. I haven't tried yet. After I wrote my first review, Gosky contacted me and they gave me a new device for free. It was an unexpected and very pleasant surprise that significantly changed my opinion of the product and the company. I'm not sure if they will do this for everyone but it gives me more confidence in their product.
