Review on Enhanced Powermatic PM SA Lathe Tailstock Swing: Optimum Accuracy and Versatility by Ryan Nguyen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

How have I turned bowls without this before?

No more bumping into tool handles (or your elbow) when turning the bowl. A little tricky to align and install but worth it. This is quite difficult for one person, so assistance from a wizard is recommended during installation. Not only does this allow the tailstock to be tilted, but since it adds a few inches to the lathe bed, simply shifting the tailstock a few inches is often sufficient to give clearance for the tool handle when turning shells. One caveat: If the back of your lathe is too close to the wall, the tilt function will be difficult, but it should be apparent from the description.
