Overall I think it's a cool concept but I just don't see how the high ratings are justified. If you're looking for emergency chains on the rare occasion that you're stuck in snow, I think that's fine. If you are looking for heavy duty chain or chain for regular use, I would go with diamond chain or cable chain specifically designed for your tires. I bought these because I plan to eventually buy slightly larger tires for my setup. It was one of the few options that was adjustable so I didn't have to buy another set later. That's probably the biggest plus. Part of what other reviewers say about the ease of installation is true. They are easy to install, although not particularly quick. You install six different tracks, which takes time. However, the extraction is very fast. The card that comes in the box doesn't inspire much confidence. Looks like a Google Translate product. The customer support email address is a Hotmail account. Everything seemed to work fine, but I think they probably don't offer any hacking help. You can see in the picture that I have the optimal distance between the chains - it doesn't get any better than that. But you can also see how much of the tire is left without good traction. All in all, three stars are correct.
