So disappointed! to handicrafts

The color of the fabric is beautiful. I like that it looks like stars or falling snow at dusk. However, it was advertised and labeled as 12" x 18", and each piece measured only 11.5" x 17.25". This lack means that in order to use this fabric for my project, I have to manipulate the pattern and strip my image of the ground. When things are planned, counted, and measured for arts and crafts, sometimes those things make a big difference! Also, the details are cut very sloppily, so the entire first row of stitches can be 3-4 rows on one side, and this shortens the work surface even more! If I didn't start this project while on vacation this week, I would definitely bring it back. I'm just devastated for a moment.
