I had to replace the split supply hose. Some sellers wanted $30 just for the pipe, and the local parts store didn't have them. The local parts store was selling the same kit at a much higher price. I liked that this kit contains genuine Aprilaire parts. My plastic frame around the filter was worn out from the heat - not yet in need of replacement but probably a year or two away (the plastic was peeling and crumbling around the edges) so getting a new frame with this kit was a challenge. Bonus. All details fit exactly. The humidifier is recyclable - much cheaper and easier than replacing.
