Um. WHERE WAS MY ALL LIFE? I've been quilting with handheld rotary knives for decades. Of course they like it. But when I was tasked with making 250 CoVid masks I decided to see if I could find a faster way. Enter this little red beauty! I didn't know there were electric fabric cutters for home use! I was horrified by this but after 2 minutes I was laughing hysterically and squealing so loud my husband came over to see if I was ok! It's really adorable! Fully assembled, ready to connect. I read the two page instructions, watched the YouTube video and started cutting. I can use any surface anywhere as the blade doesn't go under the bottom plate! Carpets don't go anywhere! Yesterday I knitted 400 pieces in no time! Tried 12 layers (yes, 12) of quilted cotton this morning. Smooth as butter! I could probably do more, but I don't want to risk fabric if 12 is enough for me! Clear lines, absolutely even, no misalignment, my masks look cut out! Try it! If you have aging hands or a lot of work or detail, this is a miracle.
