These strips are better than any other denture glue I've tried. These strips last for hours. Even after drinking hot coffee they still hold my lower denture in place. I only gave four stars because they don't last all day. They tend to give up when I try to eat dinner. However, now I add new strips or Secure Cream just before lunch and I'm good for dinner and the rest of the day. I only had to apply once a day, but I'm glad I can at least eat and drink throughout the day and only have to apply twice. Other strips and creams I've tried didn't let me eat or drink at all. I only had dentures for a few months and was very depressed because it seemed like I would never be able to eat or drink while wearing dentures. I feel much better after trying these strips. I could even eat a sandwich without a knife and fork! I had to be careful when I bit him, but that's because I'm still learning to eat with dentures on. When I put in a prosthesis for the first time, I feel a slight tingling sensation, but it only lasts about a minute. It's not so bad that I don't use it or I'm afraid I'll hurt myself. These strips are too big for my dentures, but I was able to cut them to fit three uses. from a full strip. It definitely helps keep costs down. Another thing I love about these strips is that they are unflavored. I don't like foods that have flavors because then everything tastes like mint. There was also another brand of cream that was unflavored but had a bitter or sour taste. Not only do these strips work, they don't taste minty or sour. When I first ordered them I was afraid that once they are inside I might not be able to get them. Time to get them, but you just have to work on them a bit. I then use a toothbrush to clean my gums with warm water to remove any remaining adhesive. The strips come off instantly, especially when I soak them in a safe cleaning solution. I will definitely order more of these. I know that there is nothing that even comes close to working. I hope they never stop selling them at Revain because I couldn't find them in any stores. Try them, you will be pleasantly surprised at how well they work.
