Review on GE Lighting 63797 Brightstik - Optimal Replacement for Enhanced Brightness by Aaron Urena

We bought these for a ceiling fan despite being told it will shorten the life of the bulbs. The light isn't completely obscured, but it could be...it's a dome. I had to rotate the dome over the bulbs to get them back, but the bulbs don't get hot and the glass isn't warm or anything. They have great colors and are very comfortable. I bought daytime temp as a backup but we like warm light much more. Use caution with use - like the others, they are closer to 5-1/4" than 4-1/2".
