Disappointed with chargers

I was very happy to find a charging station for my 3DS XL but this one just doesn't work. The 3DS XL doesn't fit properly in the space and only loads when pressure is applied to the right side of the system. I was able to fix this by putting something heavy on top of the 3DS, but that really defeats the purpose of just mounting and charging your system.
