My son has problems with the multiplication tables. Math homework takes forever to complete as he has trouble remembering it. We tried flashcards, apps and all sorts of tricks, but they just didn't catch on. To be honest, I'm not a quick memorizer for most of my multiplication facts either, and I'm a working adult. I put this rug on the kitchen table next to him when he does his homework. He can quickly find the answer by solving more complex (3-digit and 4-digit) multiplication problems, saving a lot of time, frustration and tears. He still has to go through individual steps instead of just using a calculator to solve the whole problem.
