Great addition and easy to install, nothing else to say other than the description. I've added this to the LYNXR-EN system - programming the panel can be tricky if you're not used to it, but that's not the fault of the detectors. As mentioned in another review, this needs to be provided prior to registration. I tested it with an incense stick and was instantly wide awake. and shortly thereafter I was on the phone with the security company. =) Heating function not checked. **2014 Update** I have since upgraded to a newer panel and I love it! I also ordered one of these smoke alarms for another room (3 in total). The rest is still going strong! One is located next to the bath and wood stove and I am happy to report that it has never misfired.
