Cheap but not "cheap " great!

I had an old electric sprayer that had some problems. So when I had to paint 4 sets of double louvered doors I went with this cheap one. I had very low expectations. And I figured that for less than $50, even if it hurts, it's still better than using a brush. There is nothing worse than painting this type of door. So many parts to achieve and so much time. Well to my surprise this sprayer is amazing! I followed the directions down to the letter T. I used a very thick latex paint diluted 1:1 with water. Also used a red tip. This atomizer lay flat and even. I was shocked! There was overspray, but I painted on the outside of the saws. I applied 3 coats to 3 doors on both sides in less than 4 hours at 65 degrees. The 3 light coats dried quickly allowing a recoat to be done without fully cleaning the sprayer. Simply rinse with water between coats. Once I was done cleaning up was easy. The part of the atomizer that contains the trigger, nozzle and tank is separated from the motor part. Use the supplied cleaning brush and the medium bristle cleaning brush in a sink with hot, soapy water. It took no more than 5 minutes to erase everything. There are spatters on the motor part but nothing affects the operation. I was willing to pay double the price for this sprayer and I'm glad I made the choice. Worth every penny.
