Ready to use! I'm giving four stars because the connector that goes to the spark plug is loose and can fall off easily, but on my lawnmower it stayed in place and made contact everywhere because the connector is angled up to allow the connector to close keep in place. looks cheap and the packaging is sturdier than the tester but you can get this for a few bucks and it saved me a lot of time and money not having to bring the mower to the store. When I've noticed that it sparkles even in broad daylight, you can see it clearly. I could move on to other carb-related things.
