Scanpan may not have the same prestige as other brands, but it is definitely not inferior to high-end brands. I had a pan without a lid, it was a gift and I wanted a few more. Since I live alone, I don't need any of these 10 collections. It meets all requirements. The pans are heavier than the ones I already had which is a plus. You can boil eggs without oil and the leftover eggs will just disappear. I've had them for almost six months now and use them 3-4 times a week and there are no scratches on the non-stick surface and I know I use a metal spoon or fork from time to time.
