These radios have terrible battery life. You can only use them for a few hours. The package description said we could use normal batteries in it, so we had batteries in our packages and when the batteries died we were surprised to learn that we could only use the batteries that were included. We even double and triple checked to make sure that's what he said. The reception in the gorge wasn't very good either. We shouldn't have booked them so far in advance of the hunt. It was too late to return them when we used them. I usually like the Midland brand, but not this time!
