To make a long story short I had to return it. I'm sure it's a good cable so I'm guessing 3 stars but it just didn't work for me and the description didn't accurately state it. It's a little confusing, but here it is. Obviously these cables have plugs and sockets, which is fine. I wanted to use them to extend the antenna from the WiFi card to the PC. CHECK THE PICTURE! One end of these cables has a small wire sticking out and the other end has a small hole through which it can be inserted. (Similar to coax cable for your TV.) I don't know if there's an industry standard for which end (male/female) has which bit (wire sticking out or not), but it wasn't compatible with my wireless card. My Wi-Fi card has the connectors coming out of the PC and the cable sticking out (which seems a bit backwards as I write this, but still). These cables also have a wire protruding from the female end that must be attached to the card. It's like trying to put a round pin on top of another round pin. There were two holes at the other end, so no connection to the antenna. There is no need to flip the cable as you cannot twist male/male or female/female connections without an adapter (which may not even be compatible due to the wires). Just make sure your connections are working and not just with one man. /female parts of the bolt and nut, but the wire comes out on one of those ends as well.
