Review on πŸŽ€ Innovative Lighting Inc. 560-1112-7: Enhance Your Inflatable with a White LED Bow Light by Dwight Tim

Before you leave, check the lights on the dock if you think you'll be out before dark.

I have owned at least four pairs of these lamps. I buy them again and again and use them like any disposable item. First, trust that they cannot stand in the sun. They don't stop the rain. switches fail. I've had LED models and incandescent models, and LED models don't cost extra because I've never had the light itself last as long as the batteries. (Except for leaking water, which ruins batteries.) Why do I keep buying them? I mounted a stern light on a stainless steel tower so the configuration is right for my application. (Some states require the light to shine 360 degrees to allow people in the boat to obstruct the engine mounted light.) The bow light is glued to the front of the boat using the mounting system that came with the light, so I just swap out the new one lamp off. I've been using the original mount for about seven years. When done correctly, the bracket will remain glued to the boat. My solution, aside from keeping the lanterns in a dry place "where the sun doesn't shine", was to make some cases for them, which I did. The covers are made from Sunbrella material and Velcro straps line one edge of each cover so it fits snugly over the stem of each light. Each cover measures approximately 6" x 9" with a hole on the short side for a stern light and a hole for a bow light along one long side. Dog poop bags (they are readily available) but then people will immediately decide you are a sailor when you arrive at the boat harbor.
