Use for normal tasks (draining pasta etc.) works well. They're made from relatively non-stick materials and stack up pretty well. However, I've used them a few times as impromptu popcorn bowls and found that the popcorn oil stains the silicone fold. I haven't washed them in the dishwasher yet, but several cycles of vigorous hand washing will not remove the yellow stains left by microwave popcorn. Also, bits of paste can get stuck in holes that are difficult to remove with hand washing. I would recommend one with large holes unless you need to wash/drain very small items.
