Fantastic Ball Latch Alternative
I installed this on my French doors that used to have a ball latch. Thats much better. Installation is relatively easy, but a perfect fit will require a different size drill bit. It's not a big problem because 1 inch is close enough. I recommend wearing gloves when adding adhesive pads as they are thin metal and the magnets can pull on them in a way that could cut you. The attraction of the magnet is quite strong. keeps the door closed like a bullet trap, but opens much more gently and almost silently Simply a great product
