After reading the reviews I decided to jump in and get a pair of these just because they never need repairs or air. Pretty easy to assemble if you've already made complex clinchers and a car tire. I used car tire changers and some zip ties from the port. If that sounds complicated, it probably is, but the tools are cheap. This price was good enough for me to try. They look like they will be difficult to remove without damaging them with a razor blade. I'm planning a second set of wheels if I want to have some air again. Probably best for workouts or short rides. They fit easily into the Shimano 105 groupset on my fixed gear road bike. I think they are closer to 700c 25 than 23. Anyway these are not race tires. Ride: I'm 14-19 to mid-20 mph in the race. Rider is 6'3" tall and weighs 250 pounds. The ride is a bit more difficult, you will feel bumps and gain speed. The impact is negligible compared to the resistance. I look forward to the extra workout I will get along the way get to work by forcing myself to stay closer to 14mph.
