Review on Motorola Original 0105950U15 Programming Cable by Edgardo Ennis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cable is good, Motorola software seems finicky.

Works as it should. Nowadays, when computers don't have RS-232 serial ports, it can be difficult to figure out which USB-to-serial adapter to use. At the time of writing this review I have successfully used this cable to program DTR650 radios in conjunction with: Macbook Pro running OSX 10.8 VMWare Fusion Pro 7.0.1 Windows 7 Guest OS Motorola DTR CPS R03.02 Software Tripp-Lite U209 - 000-R (1', not the 5' version) USB -> Serial Adapter I couldn't get other USB -> Serial adapters to work with a Windows guest machine in VMware. I even had a Tripp-Lite Keyspan 19HS that *almost* worked. It was very frustrating.
