I didn't expect it to change the dynamics of the car so much. Shifts are smoother and power is much higher. I can shift sharply and reduce power without the transmission using any power. Those of you who have had a 15+ WRX know what I'm talking about, on hard shifts some of the power is dissipated due to transmission deflection due to the soft mounting of the transmission. is dissipated due to drivetrain deflection, meaning more power is sent to the tires. It took me about 1.5 hours using only hand tools. So if you have an impact wrench it will take even less time. Absolutely worth it. Lift up on some of the crossmember bushings as you do so, as you will be removing the crossmember anyway.
