I ordered three different needle lengths (36pcs each) after using an online tool to calculate what I needed. These needles are good when properly cut and threaded. The problem is that about 30% of them are not. You must order 2 times more than you need to have enough. 2 mm difference in spoke length is enormous for a spoke, but the thread cross-section is just as different. Most threads are cut too long on the needle (which is just annoying) or not far enough making them useless because the nipple comes off the thread too soon. About 10% of the needles were not even threaded correctly, apparently the cutting tool was worn out.
