I recently built two rims - one with expensive Swiss spokes and the other with these Bavel spokes. Both wheels are rock solid and only the stamps and wrench sizes indicate which is which. All of the Bavel spokes were the perfect length and tightened with no fuss. The included brass nipples were smooth to the touch and not rounded at all. Because of the price and the quality I can only recommend these knitting needles.

The list is a bit strange. The product is actually better than stated in the description. +- 1 mm is listed first. In the two sets I received it is much closer to +- 0.1mm than any other needle I have ever ordered. The product is non-magnetic steel and I believe it is some type of stainless steel as listed. I don't understand the bad reviews, my experience with these 2mm x 264mm Bavel needles was good. Spoke material - stainless steel, non-magnetic. The nuts or nipples are brass plated, the shiny finish is probably nickel. In my two bags, each should have 36 pieces, each actually contains 39 spokes and nipples.
