I don't understand the bad reviews, my experience with these 2mm x 264mm Bavel needles was good. Spoke material - stainless steel, non-magnetic. The nuts or nipples are brass plated, the shiny finish is probably nickel. In my two bags, each should have 36 pieces, each actually contains 39 spokes and nipples. After assembling two wheels I had 6 spare spokes and nipples. I did not find any defective parts, all the ends of the J-bends with heads were without defects, there were no thread problems on either the spokes or the nipples, there were also no deformed nipples. My only possible complaint would be the delivery time as they came from China, 2 weeks and 2 days. They replaced the stock spokes on an aluminum frame Schwinn Solution AL mountain bike that I use as a beach bike. Due to the terrible conditions this bike lives in, I replaced many other parts that were rusting with stainless steel, nickel or aluminum. It's kept out there, under some sort of cover, but within 100 yards of the ocean and even closer to the beach, so it's bombed. caustic fog and destroyed by flying sand. The original spokes rusted, became brittle and began to break about once a month with very light use. The nipples are also very rusty. Time will tell how these Bavelov needles hold up!
